Egan’s Ballard Jam House
Intimate jazz club and acoustic music venue in the heart of Ballard, dedicated to small venue performance in the jazz club tradition with dinner service and all ages welcome until 10pm.
History: Named after founder Suzanne Weghorst's grandfather, Jack Egan, who was a ragtime composer and performer. Weghorst was inspired to create the venue after watching her son take saxophone lessons and recognizing the need for a space where jazz could be honored and passed between generations. The building itself dates to the early 1900s.
