Neumos
A legendary mid-size music venue on Capitol Hill's Pike/Pine corridor known for excellent acoustics and an intimate yet electrifying live music experience, featuring three full-service bars and a mezzanine level.
History: The space at 925 E Pike St originally opened as Moe's Mo'Roc'N Cafe in 1992. It was relaunched as Neumos (pronounced 'New Mo's') in 2003/2004 by Steven Severin and partners. In 2012, the team opened Barboza, a 200-capacity subterranean venue beneath the building. In 2017, they added The Runaway bar. The venue has survived destructive fans, changing trends, and the COVID-19 pandemic, receiving a Shuttered Venue Operators Grant. Neumos celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2024 and remains one of the musical centers of the Pike/Pine corridor.
