Home of Seattle Mariners, retractable roof stadium

History: Opened July 15, 1999 as Safeco Field under a $40 million, 20-year naming rights deal with Safeco Insurance. First game: Mariners vs. San Diego Padres. Renamed T-Mobile Park on January 1, 2019 under a $87.5 million, 25-year deal. First full field replacement after 2017 season. Center field scoreboard replaced with 11,435 sq ft board, largest in MLB at the time. Built to replace the Kingdome.
